Concerteenies return to King’s Lynn with a new musical story for children and their families
Children aged three years and over and their families are once again invited to join an organisation for its new musical story.
Concerteenies presents ‘Blown Away’ at Lynn Town Hall on Saturday, as part of the town festival’s autumn series of events.
Penguin Blue and his friends are in for a surprise. It all starts with a windy day and a brand-new kite.
Come fly away with Penguin Blue as he gets caught in a gust of wind and the adventure begins.
Flautist Meera Maharaj, narrator Polly Ives, and creative practitioner Sarah Carroll perform new music composed by award-winning Paul Rissmann, based on the book by Rob Biddulph.
Digital animations will bring the illustrations to life and with fun actions and songs to join in within a relaxed and friendly environment, this is a perfect introduction to music, animation and storytelling.
This is the second musical story Concerteenies will be performing in Lynn following the sell-out success of The Dinosaur Department Store in April.
Performances will take place at 11am and 1.30pm on Saturday and audiences can enjoy refreshments and craft activities in the Stone Hall before each performance.
Tickets are £4 for adults and £2 for children. They are available from the Alive Corn Exchange Box Office on 01553 764864 or via https://www.kingslynnfestival.org.uk/whats-on.
Blown Away is written by Rob Biddulph and is published by HarperCollins Children’s Books.
