An exhibition of stunning handmade jewellery is being launched by Fineline Frames & Gallery, Norfolk’s bespoke picture framer, at its most recent showroom at Creake Abbey near Burnham Market.
Fineline Frames has carefully selected four jewellers, all of whom demonstrate a true a mastery of their craft with striking contemporary designs in silver, semi precious stones and gold.
The exhibiting jewellers are Holly McAfee from Scotland, Hannah Bedford from London, Catherine Downes in Norfolk and Shimara Carlow from Australia.
With a proud history of collaboration with Norfolk’s leading artists and photographers, Fineline Frames’ new showroom at Creake Abbey, opened in 2014, has proved the perfect venue for exhibiting artwork.
The expansion in to jewellery seemed like a natural progression for its owner, Wayne Dodds, who said: “We wish to support artists working across all mediums and are delighted to host this beautiful jewellery exhibition.
“We have timed this event deliberately so you can find that special Valentine’s gift for your loved one, or enjoy a romantic trip to the beautiful Creake Abbey site to choose something together.”
Last night the exhibition was launched with a glamorous ‘Ladies Night’ evening. Guests were treated to a red carpet, VIP welcome and enjoyed wonderful canapés, champagne and music while enjoying an exclusive preview of the jewellery on display.
Mr Dodds added: “We wanted to banish those January blues and put on an event that was an excuse to dress up and have some fun and we look forward to welcoming others into the showroom over the coming week.”
The Fineline Frames jewellery exhibition is open daily 10am–4pm until next Thursday, February 5.
