Third Deepdale festival packed with talent
Deepdale Festival holds its third annual music and arts festival from September 27-29.
Across four stages, Burnham Deepdale will host and support an incredible array of music talent over the weekend.
The festival’s director, Chris Haycock, said: “I’ve always loved putting together line-ups.
“But here at Deepdale I’ve been given the freedom to really develop something with personality and quality.
“When my invitation to Martin Carthy was accepted, I knew the 2019 Deepdale Festival would be something seriously special.”
Friday’s line-up has the the incredibly exciting Norfolk band of the moment, Morganway headlining.
Also appearing are the acclaimed Shackleton Trio, supplemented with two hugely talented musicians to become the Cobbler Bob String Band.
The Saturday line-up sees the Brick Barn headliners Man The Lifeboats set to build on their storming Sunday appearance last year, with stomping folk rock impossible not to jump around to.
Meanwhile, over on the Orchard Stage, you mustn’t miss the nationally-acclaimed Kitty MacFarlane, followed by the classy multi-influenced Cambridge band Fred’s House to close out that stage.
The Deepdale Crew are also very excited to be joined by the Marham Military Wives Choir for a special performance in St Mary’s Church.
On Sunday, the hugely influential folk music luminary Martin Carthy headlines on the Brick Barn Stage.
The Deepdale Festival events will take place at Deepdale Backpackers & Camping, Dalegate Market and St Mary’s Church, all in Burnham Deepdale, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
