How does a delightful evening of music and marrows, comedy and compost sound?
You can find out on Friday at Sedgeford Village Hall when ‘cultivated’ duo Xylophone Productions stage Can You Dig It?
The show starts at 7.30pm and tickets for the show are £12, which includes a glass of wine. Call the box office on 01485 570097 or 01485 579355 for details.
With a bumper crop of comedy songs about growing your own vegetables, a love song to Alan Titchmarsh, and even a virtuoso performance on a cucumber trumpet, Can You Dig It? will appeal to gardeners and non-gardeners alike.
Musical comedians (and real-life allotment holders) Jo Stephenson and Dan Woods, take the audience into the mysterious and competitive world of vegetable shows, tell the story of an evil pigeon called Derrick and ask: John Innes – who is he?
The show is also being performed at the Coach and Horses pub in Dersingham next Friday, March 11, starting at 7.30pm, when admission is free.
