Watlington Players bring Hans Christian Andersen’s timeless tale The Snow Queen to life in their annual pantomime.
This festive treat for the whole family will take place on Saturday, December 21 and Sunday, December 22 at 2.30pm and 7.30pm at Watlington Village Hall.
Audiences will journey into a sparkling winter wonderland where the courageous young heroine Gerda, along with Dame Nelly Knickerbocker, her son Olaf, and the town’s mayor, set out on an epic quest to rescue her best friend Kai from the icy grip of the Snow Queen – meeting some interesting characters along the way.
Packed with hilarious comedy, dazzling costumes, catchy songs, and plenty of audience participation, this production promises laughter, magic, and festive cheer for all ages.
The pantomime, directed by Megan Abbot, musically directed by Amy Power, and choreographed by Jess Field and Becca Field, features a talented local cast who have worked tirelessly to deliver an unforgettable theatrical experience.
