Evening with celebrated florist Nick Grounds at Shouldham Bowls Club

An evening with celebrated florist Nick Grounds is being held at Shouldham Bowls Club next Thursday, October 17.

Dubbed ‘Keep Calm and Arrange Flowers, the evening has been hosted by the Parochial Church Council (PCC) of All Saints’ Church in the village, kickstarting the major fundraising campaign for ‘The Church on The Hill’.

This evening presents a fantastic opportunity to learn from a master whilst hearing some tales of his life and career as an auctioneer while he creates some beautiful arrangements.

Over the course of the evening, Nick will conjure up to six gorgeous floral arrangements in varying containers and styles with his trademark affable charm.

Along the way, he will share tips and techniques while sharing anecdotes from his two careers as auctioneer and florist, including the many high-profile weddings he has contributed to and the many cathedrals and churches in the region he has worked in. He is generously donating his time.

The evening will be very informal and relaxed, with the bar of Shouldham’s Bowls Club open throughout and nibbles provided, and will conclude with a raffle and auction of the completed arrangements, with Nick deploying his auctioneer’s skills to raise funds for All Saint’s.
