Pensthorpe is offering free park entry to visitors this Mother’s Day on Sunday, March 27.

One full-paying visitor, including children and seniors, can bring a guest with them for free to the 700-acre nature reserve – whether that’s a mum, dad, sister, grandparent, family friend or partner.

Available to book via the website, those with an annual membership to the nature reserve can also benefit from the buy one get one free offer.

Open between 10am and 4.30pm, the nature reserve offers a selection of activities for all generations to enjoy. Little explorers can run high and low through the park’s outdoor eco play area, WildRootz, or take shelter from the wet British weather in Hootz House for an epic indoor adventure.

For those who love being outdoors and learning about nature, there are interactive trails, seven bird hides and several charming boardwalks that weave through the wilderness of the reserve, providing nature enthusiasts the opportunity to get closer to the native and visiting wildlife.

Pensthorpe is also home to four stunning gardens – which have been thoughtfully created by some of the world’s leading garden designers – providing an impressive backdrop for keen photographers.

Deb Jordan, owner of Pensthorpe Natural Park, said: “We’re so excited to be able to celebrate Mother’s Day at the park this year, and we want to make the day as easy, inclusive and cost effective for as many as people as possible.

“It's also important that we recognise that not all families have a mother-figure, and we hope our ticket offer will be a welcome gesture for everyone.”

Visitors to Pensthorpe can also pre-book a table for Sunday Lunch which includes a traditional roast dinner, served between 12-2pm or treat themselves to a Mother’s Day afternoon tea. The afternoon tea is £14.95 per person and will be served at the Courtyard Café 2.30-4pm.

Adult and senior tickets are £13.95 and child tickets (3-16) are £12.95. Alternatively, annual memberships are available for adults at £50, senior (60+) at £45 and children (3-16) at £45, which provide members with unlimited entry into the park and Hootz House for 12 months during the parks normal opening hours.

Tables for Sunday Lunch and Afternoon Tea must be booked 24 hours in advance by calling 01328 851465.
