The first line- up has been announced for this year’s Deepdale Festival with a fabulous programme of acts promised.
Many top acts in the world of folk will be performing at the long weekend of live music which takes place at Deepdale Farm, Brancaster Staithe from Thursday, September 21 to Sunday, September 24 and sells out each year.
Headliners that have been announced include India Electric Co on Sunday, Morganway on Friday and The Leisure Society on Saturday.
Performers also included in the line-up are Chris Cleverley on Saturday, Jacob and Drinkwater on Friday and Annie Dressner on Saturday.
Chris Haycock, festival director said: “We are really very excited at how this year’s line-up (our sixth!) is shaping up.
“Whether it’s fantastic acts from further afield, such as India Electric Co, The Leisure Society, Chris Cleverley and Jacob and Drinkwater, or brilliant bands from right here in Norfolk such as Morganway, Kitewing and the John Ward Trio, among many others, we can’t wait to showcase another weekend of fabulous music.”
This is the sixth annual festival and music lovers can book in to stay at Deepdale Camping and Rooms or buy day tickets to visit simply for the music.
The festival is described as small but perfectly formed, and it seems that local and national artists feel exactly that.
Deepdale Farm, overlooks the harbour of Brancaster Staithe, a place where festival-goers can dance to a band in the Brick Barn or chill in the Orchard for a fabulous way to enjoy live music.
Previous artists hosted include many performers from the folk world and the festival was voted Norfolk Festival of the Year 2021 in the East Anglian Festival Network poll and is a popular event.
