Kings Lynn Festival Chorus concert is being held at town minster this week

An enjoyable evening of music is coming to a town minster.

On Saturday (April 13), Lynn Festival Chorus, under the direction of Ben Horden, will perform Brahms Requiem for chorus and piano duet, at Lynn Minster at 7pm.

The Chorus is delighted to once again be joined by musicians of international renown; BBC Radio 3 new generation artist Michael Pandya with piano duet partner Lana Bode, and soloists Felix Kemp, baritone, and Bethany Horak-Hallet, mezzo-soprano.

Alongside this cornerstone of the choral repertory, Bethany Horak-Hallett performs Elgar’s ‘Sea Pictures’.

The settings of five poems were originally written for soprano and piano and often performed in this version by Elgar himself.

Bethany is joined in this performance with piano accompaniment by KLFC’s own music director, Ben Horden.

Tickets are £20 each and under 16s go free.
