Festival chorus returns to play concert in King's Lynn
King's Lynn Festival Chorus under the baton of their new music director Ben Horden, returns to the concert hall after a long period of enforced rest that has affected so many people in so many different ways.
This return to to the concert stage is in association with the King's Lynn Festival and sponsored by Adrian Flux.
The programme is made up of choral devotions by composers who have lived through at least one, if not two world wars, as well as localised conflicts.
It will include compositions of Karl Jenkins, Michael Tippett and John Tavener among others.
A spokesman for the chorus said: "Music we're performing by these iconic late 19th, 20th and 21st century composers provide reflection of troubled times, and optimism and hope for the future."
The concert tomorrow starts at 7.30 pm at St Nicholas' Chapel in Lynn.
