Holkham Estate celebrating Christmas with tour of the hall by candlelight

This December, Holkham Estate are decking the halls and lighting the hundreds of candles in readiness for visitors to celebrate Christmas and tour the hall by candlelight.

This is a truly magical opportunity to relish the magnificent state rooms adorned with opulent Christmas decorations, festive scents, and beautiful flickering candlelight.

Either take a guided tour or visit the rooms at your own pace, but whichever way you choose, Holkham’s expert tour guides and room stewards will share how the installations and unique decorations were created and divulge the inspiration behind each room setting.

New for this year is the chance to book at last year’s prices for those who get in there early. Other events include Holkham’s renowned Christmas food, drink and gift market, an Audience with Father Christmas, silversmith ring and necklace making workshops, willow weaving workshops and Christmas crafting for the little ones.
