Event about protecting your business ideas coming to King’s Lynn Library
Lynn Library is hosting a talk by the Business and Intellectual Property Centre co-ordinators, Pete Golland and Jonny Ellis, who will be telling people all they need to know about protecting business ideas.
This event will take place on Tuesday, June 10 at 10.30am.
Intellectual Property (IP) is any original creation that can be bought or sold. If you are a business person, an inventor, an artist, or an author, IP will affect you.
In this session, they will focus on four key areas of intellectual property: design, patent, copyright, and trademark.
There will be an introduction of each area with some discussion of how to recognize your IP and how best to protect it.
Then they will discuss some of the difficulties faced, such as concepts and methodologies, with a Q&A to finish.
This event is free, but booking is essential by visiting the Eventbrite website.
Refreshments will be available on the day.
