The Tuesday Market Place may have the elegance of the classic cars, but at the other end of the High Street, there is plenty to see and do at the Saturday Market Place.

There is a Norfolk Heritage Market, featuring Norfolk food, drink, bees and crafts.

There is massed Morris dancing from the King’s Morris at 11am.

Nelson’s Shantymen will perform at noon while Wyldes Noyse, the King’s Lynn Waites, sing at 1pm dressed in period attire and covering 600 years of popular music.

For those seeking a little peace, make your way to the garden of the Burkitt Homes boardroom in Saturday Market Place.

These are almshouses set in a quadrangle around a little garden. Built in 1909 of red brick in a Tudor style it features a two-storey gatehouse.
