Four hands and a piano recital
King’s Lynn Music Society’s next event, which is on Wednesday at Lynn’s Town Hall, is a piano duo recital – four hands on the piano – given by the Volt & Potenza Duo, Giulio Potenza and Oda Voltersvik.
Their programme “Masters from the East” introduces listeners to composers from Russia and Eastern Europe from the 19th and beginning of the 20th century, including Arensky, Rachmaninov, Dvorak, Janacek and Stravinsky.
The Volt & Potenza Duo is a first prize winner of the Bradshaw & Buono international piano competition 2017.
While studying at Trinity Laban Conservatory Giulio and Oda started a collaboration with the aim of developing their common interest for four hands compositions.
Visitors are always welcome, doors open at 7pm for tea/coffee; admission is free for under-18s, full-time students and those with Federation of Recorded Music Societies affiliation.
For other visitors a £10 donation is suggested.
