Free King's Lynn band concert to mark 125th milestone




With it being the 125th anniversary of King's Lynn Town Band this year, a free concert will be held on Sunday to mark the milestone.

The concert will take place in St Nicholas' Chapel from 3pm.

It will feature a programme of light and varied music chosen to resonate with the band through the years.

The band was originally formed as a brass and reed band in 1894 by former members of the Volunteer Corps Band.

Following this, the group became a brass band in 1903.

King's Lynn Town Band can be found on social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
