A gallery in town is putting on a new exhibition - with the launch set for this weekend.
The GroundWork Gallery in Lynn is inviting the public to celebrate the launch of its new exhibition on Saturday from 6pm-8pm at its venue on Purfleet Street in Lynn.
The new exhibition is titled ‘Extraction IV Season Heavy Water Collective’, showing the results of members’ collaboration with the Sedgwick Museum of Earth Sciences at the University of Cambridge.
The works being showcased will be by artists Victoria Lucas, Joanna Whittle and Maud Haya-Baviera.
The exhibition will be running until Saturday, September 7, and is open Wednesdays-Saturdays from 11am-4pm.
On the day of the launch, there will be light refreshments to enjoy.
The new exhibition will be opened by Simon Kaner, archaeologist and director of the Sainsbury Institute for the Study of Japanse Arts and Cultures.
This Friday from 6pm-8pm, the gallery is also holding a Lynn Festival exhibition named ‘Peace to Pop, British Art 1945-1980’ - and is also offering a special festival preview from 4pm-6pm.
