Lynn's GroundWork Gallery in Purfleet Street is taking part in a musical exchange and three-day celebration of north Indian and French culture.
It kicks off with Bansuri player Rishab Prasanna from New Delhi and flautist Jeanne Miramon from Paris offering an informal talk about the Indian tradition of learning music by ear and improvisational style on Sunday, October 2, 6pm.

There will also be a concert and talk on Tuesday, October 4, 7pm at the gallery.
Then, on Saturday, October 15, the mayor will open Deep Water, our next exhibition, featuring the work of eight knowledgeable and thought-provoking artists, all of whom are concerned with the health - or not - of the oceans.
