It’s all systems go again at Dr Thirsty’s in Lynn Norfolk Street, which will have a grand re-opening on Saturday, March 28, after being closed for nearly two weeks for refurbishment.

And that means the venue’s team of popular DJs are back in business to give the customers a night to remember.

Five DJs perform at DT’s over the span of a month and each one brings a different sound and vibe: James Dent (aka DJ Dirty Dent) is the resident Hip Hop and R&B DJ; Mark Malle and Tristan Miles (aka DJ Tricky) are the resident House DJs; Mark Farge is the commercial Dance music DJ; and Craig Blake plays commercial Dance music.

Mark Farge tells us: “The nightclub industry is going through somewhat of a reincarnation in the last couple of years and King’s Lynn is certainly no exception.

“The refurbishment carried out at DT’s is testament to the recent success that night time trading has had. Once it’s open for all to see (and of course hear) it will remind the town’s inhabitants why King’s Lynn is still a great place to venture after dark.

“Music has been a driving force in the industry’s recovery and it’s thanks in part to the DJs to whip the customers into a frenzy and give them a night to remember.”
