Great Massingham duo play gin festival
Great Massingham musicians The Baroness and The Bear, supported by their Rhythm Travellers, are playing at King’s Lynn Gin Festival on March 15 and 16 at St Nicholas’ Chapel.
Having played at the festival last year, Julie and Bob are thrilled to be playing again this year.
Bob said: “It is wonderful to be part of this magnificent event hosted by the KL Round Table No54.
“Last year the event raised over £10,000 towards local charities and events.”
The Baroness and The Bear’s music is contemporary electro acoustic.
They cover styles from the traditional ‘classic’ blues such as Lil Green, Memphis Minnie and Willie Dixon, mixed with the modern unique styles of RnB artists like Marc Broussard, Eric Bibb, Tom Waits, Madeleine Peyroux and The Baroness’s original compositions.
