Hunstanton community choir plays concert at St Edmund’s
A time to relax, remember and rejoice with the members of the Hunstanton Community Choir, who will be performing a wide range of music at St Edmund’s Church in Hunstanton tomorrow at 7pm.
Since its formation the Hunstanton Community Choir has gone from strength to strength.
Its committed group of members have really enjoyed singing together and performing a wide repertoire of music, which is uplifting, challenging, fun and most enjoyable. Please do come along, relax and be entertained.
Share the members’ sense of achievement as they perform and delight their audience, after all the effort and hard work that they have put into their weekly rehearsals.
Organisers say the concert is sure to be a great evening.
After a splendid summer concert, members of St Edmund’s Church are absolutely delighted to welcome the Hunstanton Community Choir again.
St Edmund’s Church members are extremely grateful and would like to thank the Hunstanton Community Choir, who will be helping them to raise some much-needed funds for the restoration of the church building.
Admission is £5, which includes refreshments.
Hunstanton Community Choir meets on Tuesday evenings at the Town Hall, Hunstanton, and rehearsals normally take place from 7-9pm. Cost for the evening is £4, which includes tea/coffee and biscuits at the mid-session break.
The choir is open to all within the local community and surrounding villages; there is no formal audition, so why not come along and join.
New members are encouraged to start in either January or September when the choir tends to start new music. Events and performances run throughout most of the year.
The choristers sing everything from Brahms to the Bee Gees, by way of such evergreens as the songs of West Side Story, The Way We Were, In Dulci Jubilo, Eleanor Rigby and Every Time We Say Goodbye.
