Illustrated talk at Docking’s St Mary’s Church based on work and volunteering of National Trust’s Heritage and Archaeology Rangers
A lecture will introduce people to the works of a heritage team and ways they can volunteer.
From Brancaster to Salthouse, an illustrated talk by Neil Oxenbury will inform guests about the work of the National Trust’s Heritage and Archaeology Rangers Team (HART) and how to become a volunteer.
Neil is a volunteer with HART and will be presenting the talk at St Mary’s Church in Docking on Wednesday, February 5 at 7pm.
This is described as an exciting volunteer initiative set up to improve the Trust’s understanding of the archaeological sites under their care.
It is a scheme involving teams of dedicated volunteers who understand fieldwork and collect information about the current condition of these important sites and buildings.
Admission is free for Docking Heritage group members or £3 for non-members.
