King' Lynn new year show for youngsters

A show for youngsters to experience the theatre for the first time is an immersive experience aimed to entertain and educate.

Christmas and the New Year may seem a far way notion at the moment but it's good to plan ahead and what better way than at The Workshop in Lynn.

My First Show by All In Productions presented a tale Cinderella Rocks last Christmas and this January they are hosting a new pop-up world of theatre, play and adventure, for all ages, where children naughty or nice make the rules.

Explorer Lucy needs little ones’ help in this new immersive, sensory feast aimed at ages fives and under.

Map in hand, they’ll feel the snow crunch beneath their feet, the wind whooshing round them and the sky exploding with colour.

It’s full of the interaction, songs, storytelling and silliness that My First fans have come to love says writer and director Daniel Burgess of All-In Productions.

He said: "Into The Snow Globe really satisfies youngsters’ need to play and let their imagination loose.

"Our new immersive space is going to wow audiences.

"It’ll be the perfect shelter from the outside world for an hour."

All-In Productions Lloyd Gorman, who is composing music for both, is excited to cast some winter magic over The Workshop this Christmas.

He said: "We’re putting together a really vibrant, energetic, exciting and fun show in a new and inviting space to play and explore.

"We can’t wait to see you."

My First Into The Snow Globe runs at The Workshop in Lynn from 3-7 January 2023.
