It may be summer, but tickets for Pensthorpe Nature Reserve’s Christmas experience are on sale now!
It may only be August, but Pensthorpe Nature Reserve near Fakenham has announced that tickets to its Christmas experience are now on sale.
From Saturday, December 2 to Saturday, December 23, Santa Claus will take up residence for The North Norfolk Pole Experience.
Santa will be joined by his mischievous elves who will be spreading the Christmas cheer, humming festive tunes and deciding who’s going on the naughty and nice list.
Magical storytelling sessions take place with the man himself in his specially designed grotto, followed by festive crafts with the elves, making beautiful Christmas decorations in the workshop.
Guests will also enjoy hot chocolate and cookies with Santa and his helpers before being shown the much-anticipated present room, where every child can choose a special gift to take home.
Pensthorpe’s general manager Ben Marshall said: “We want to give our families an experience where they will make memories to last a lifetime.
“Pensthorpe will be transformed into a magical winter wonderland celebrating all the traditions of Christmas for family members of all generations to enjoy. We think this is our best Christmas experience yet and we are so proud to announce it to our visitors.
“We do recommend guests book early to avoid disappointment, but there will be five sessions available each day on selected days through December and each session lasts an hour and 15 minutes, giving children plenty of time to soak up the festive atmosphere.”
Guests can upgrade their tickets to include entry at a discounted price to the reserve, where they can explore five beautiful gardens, admire the natural world in winter, and relax with a much-needed hot drink while the children play in the award-winning play areas, Wild Rootz and Hootz House.
Ben added: “The reserve is open to visitors throughout the festive period and as the seasons shift to winter there’s some beautiful plants to see, native wildlife to observe and crisp fresh air to breathe in.
“With the gift shop open for present shopping and the Courtyard Café serving festive afternoon tea and other seasonal treats, Pensthorpe is a heart-warming Christmas day out for all.”
Separate tickets are required for entry to the reserve and will be discounted for The North Norfolk Pole Experience ticket holders.
