Join the Aretha Franklin vocal workshop in Hunstanton and then see the show
You can be part of a vocal workshop that is dedicated to the Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin on Saturday.
It will take place in the basement hub of the town hall in Hunstanton at 4pm.
Led by the Princess Theatre in-house professional musical director, people are able to join in with learning some of the songs and building a repertoire. Following it is the opportunity to watch Patti Boulaye as Aretha at the theatre that evening making it a full-on theatre experience.
These fun workshops are taught in a supportive group environment and all abilities are welcome, just be prepared to give it all you’ve got and you'll be saying 'respect'.
Starting with vocal warm-ups and technique work before moving on to the main body of learning some iconic songs, whilst learning some simple, bespoke vocal harmonies of some of the hits , participants will be able to perform them as a group at the end of the session.
Later, there is the opportunity to meet up with friends and family in the Sunset Wine Bar for pre-show drinks and then go and see the show Aretha and Me at 7.30pm.
To see the show, bookings can be made separately through the main Princess Theatre website with further information about discounts throughout the year.
