King’s Lynn Players making tracks for next production
Following huge success with their productions of Goodnight Mr Tom and The Secret Garden, the King’s Lynn Players are delighted to announce readings and audition dates for their next play.
A delightful adaptation of E Nesbit’s timeless and charming story The Railway Children is being staged at The Guildhall of St George from March 19 to 21, 2020.
Through the words of Station Master, Mr Perks, the story of Bobbie, Peter and Phyllis is brought to life.
Their world is turned upside down when unbeknown to them, their father is imprisoned for selling state secrets.
With their mother, they move to Three Chimneys Cottage in the country.
The railway near their new home becomes the focal point for a series of adventures which bring new friendships, love and dramas that unite the whole community.
There are roles ranging from aged 7 to 70-plus and with small, medium and large involvement. Come along and hear all about it at the readings and auditions.
Readings and workshops take place on Monday, November 18 and Wednesday, November 20 at 7.30pm. Children’s auditions take place on Monday, November 25 at 7pm and adult auditions are on Wednesday, November 27 at 7pm. All are at Howard Junior School, Gaywood.
A detailed audition guide will be available soon. For more details contact KL Players director Sharon Fox via firstname.lastname@example.org
