King's Lynn Festival road trip

More news, no ads

A coach tour visiting three of West Norfolk’s finest churches in the company of an artist, an organist and a priest launches King’s Lynn Festival’s autumn season.

As the festival marks its 70th anniversary Marshland Magnificence revives a tradition of taking supporters to buildings of historic interest in the area.

There are still some tickets left for the afternoon coach tour on Friday September 10, when Father Adrian Ling will lead visits to Walpole St Peter, West Walton and Tilney All Saints churches where artist Jon Harris will highlight aesthetic details and organist Peter Godden will demonstrate the sounds of three very interesting organs.

Afternoon tea is included in the £20 ticket price available from the Corn Exchange box office.

The tour, which will begin at Lynn’s Tuesday Market Place, is sponsored by King’s Lynn Civic Society.
