Two film makers from Lynn who have studied at the College of West Anglia, Cameron Summers and Cameron Mattless, debuted their first short film Our Last Summer.

Previewed on the cinema screen at Lynn Corn Exchange, the film, which was written and directed by the duo was received with enthusiasm by the audience.

The film is shot in areas of Lynn including The Walks with a cast of actors who auditioned for the roles and travelled from different areas to give their acting skills free of charge.

The film's plot follows three teenagers celebrating leaving sixth form with a camping trip, things however take a turn for the worse and gives them a summer to remember.

Director Cameron Summers said: "It means a lot to show this film here. We are really proud of our cast and what we have achieved."

With the preview ending on a cliff hanger, the sequel to it is being developed.

As one audience member said: "It's a breath of fresh air seeing so many young people getting involved and making a film. You should be incredibly proud of what you've both done."

The film will be available on Amazon Prime in August.
