King's Lynn market place hosts Folk In The Town

The Folk In The Town two-day mini-festival returns to Lynn’s Tuesday Market Place at the weekend.

This free event, which runs throughout tomorrow and Sunday afternoon and is scheduled to finish at 6pm each day, has another eclectic line-up of local acts who will perform traditional folk, Americana, folk rock, punk and everything in between.

Bands in the line-up are – Saturday, from noon: The Rum Dogs, The Norfolk Broads, Rhythm Travellers, Schrödinger’s Strings, The Boxwood Chessmen and Mike Prior.

Sunday, from 11.45am: The Punk Folkers, The Fried Pirates, Longshore Drift, The Shackleton Trio, Blakeney Old Wild Rovers, Vic Allen and Diverse Roots.

Festival-goers are urged to bring a picnic, sit back and enjoy.

Folk In The Town is organised by West Norfolk Council.
