Actress Jo Sherry, who plays Aunt Eller in the show, went to the Magpie Centre - West Norfolk Riding for the Disabled to find out more about their work and was lucky enough to ride Jupiter the Horse.

She said: “To have collected £464 over the five shows is amazing and just goes to show what lovely audiences we have! A big thanks to them from us all.”

The players have already held auditions for their next production which will celebrate their 75th Anniversary! The award winning group return to the Corn Exchange with Oliver!

The Lionel Bart-penned evergreen is being staged from May 15-18, at the Lynn Corn Exchange. With classic songs such as Food Glorious Food, Pick a Pocket or Two, Consider Yourself and the contrasting and haunting As Long As He Needs Me, this is a show not to be missed.

Tickets for the show, priced between £12 and £15 each, are on sale now on 01553 764864 or online https://www.kingslynncornexchange.co.uk/whats-on/music/oliver/
