Last chance to see ‘inspiring’ Woof: A Celebration Of Dogs exhibition at King’s Lynn Museum

An exhibition which visitors describe as “inspiring”, “full of variety”, and “very fun and interactive” is coming to an end soon.

There is not long left until Woof: A Celebration of Dogs closes to the public on Sunday, June 29 - but there is still plenty to get involved in.

On Friday, June 27, Gordon Stewart from Guide Dogs will be hosting a talk, along with his furry pet Philip, all about his experiences with assistance animals.

Talks are held between 2pm-3pm, and cost £2 per person – free for Norfolk Museums pass holders. Booking is recommended as seating is limited.

There is also time to catch the exhibition itself, which is available to view during opening hours 10am-5pm Tuesday-Saturday, and 12-4pm on Sundays.

Dayna Woolbright, exhibition curator, said: “The Woof exhibition has been a brilliant opportunity to bring work by nationally significant artists – including Sir Edwin Landseer and the iconic David Hockney – to Lynn.

“We are grateful to the generous lenders, particularly the Tate and Kennel Club for helping make it all possible.”

Both talk and general admission tickets can be booked in advance via the website www.lynnmuseum.norfolk.gov.uk
