Learn something different this August thanks to series of events in Hunstanton
There are lots of new things to learn and enjoy in August thanks to the Hunstanton District Festival of Arts.
There is a new series of arts and dance workshops for both adults and children based either at Hunstanton’s Community Centre or the Town Hall Hub.
Starting on Wednesday, August 7 and again on Thursday, August 15 there’s a watercolour workshop for beginners from 10am-4pm with a qualified tutor and costs £20 at the Town Hall Hub. You will need to bring your own materials.
On Thursday, August 8 there is a space-themed creative words and movement workshop for six to 11-year-olds. This costs £10 per session and lasts from 2pm-4pm at the Hunstanton Community Centre.
On Wednesday, August 14, there will be a Learn a Basic Jive Workshop from 2pm-3pm at the community centre. This is for active adults and will cost £10.
Taking place on August 21 there are two Sea Wall Ceramic Tile painting workshops at the Hub. This one is free with all materials supplied and suitable for both children and adults.
On Wednesday, August 22, there is a Bollywood Dance Workshop for adults from 2pm-3pm at the community centre. It is £10 each and materials are provided.
On Sunday, August 25 Folk on The Green is taking place at the bandstand. This is an open mike event for local bands and singers or you can just go along and watch.
Finally, on Saturday, August 31, there is the popular craft fair full of handmade goods at Hunstanton Town Hall from 10am-4pm.
