Talented pianist Maria Razumovskaya will give a recital at Lynn Music Society’s meeting next Wednesday (May 18) at 7.30pm at Lynn Town Hall, following the group’s annual meeting at 7pm.
Maria is an exceptionally talented and charismatic pianist with a wide experience of coaching singers and language coaching for Russian vocal music.
This is Lynn Music Society’s final event of the season; admission is free to under-18s, students in full time education and those with affiliation to FRMS. Visitors are welcome, £10 at the door.
Described as a musician of “integrity, great talent and beguiling charisma” and a “story-teller” of the piano, Maria received her pianistic training at the Royal Academy of Music and is doctoral scholar at the Royal College of Music.
She has performed extensively around the UK, appearing at St John’s Smith Square, Cadogan Hall, St Martin-in-the-Fields, St James’s Piccadilly and the Southbank Centre. Abroad she has performed in Germany and she was invited to make a return visit to the Cully Classique Festival in Switzerland.
Last September Maria released her debut album of Ferenc Liszt’s Piano Sonata in B minor, Petrarch Sonnets and Variations on a Theme of Bach for the Malachite/LMI label.
This solo recital is supported by Arts Council England.
