Lynn Museum in King’s Lynn to hold coffee morning, talk on medicine and family crafts
Interesting and fun events have been planned for a town museum with something for everyone.
The public is invited to Lynn Museum for its coffee morning and an afternoon talk about medicine through the ages on Friday and a dog crafts event for the family on Thursday, October 31.
The coffee morning being held tomorrow will be from 10.30am-11.30am and is free admission but tickets can be booked online.
Every last Friday of the month, people can join the museum for a relaxing hot drink, cake, and activity, ranging from crafts to handling artefacts.
Each session will have a different activity. In October, visitors can learn to make cross-stitch keyrings, inspired by their new exhibition.
Also taking place tomorrow from 2pm-3pm is an afternoon talk on medicine through the ages which is £2 per person and Norfolk Museum Services passholders can enter for free.
Join freelance educator Mandy London to take a look at some of the beliefs, cures and remedies of the past 2000 years.
Tickets for this event can be booked here.
On Thursday, October 31, people can learn about canine companions, make fun dog-themed crafts, and explore their newest exhibition: Woof: A Celebration of Dogs at the family event.
It will run from 10am-12.30pm and 1.30pm-4pm and is free to attend.
Tickets can be booked online.
