Lynn Museum is springing into space and hosting peg doll workshops

Go along and enjoy a double-header of family activities this April at the Lynn Museum.

Inspired by its current exhibition ‘The Moon: Meet Our Nearest Neighbour’, the museum will be hosting space-themed peg doll workshops on Wednesday, April 10.

Children aged eight to 12 are invited to make their own peg doll in a one hour workshop and take home their creation.

Tickets cost £2 per child, and all participants must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Older and younger siblings are not able to take part, but can attend the museum for free during the session.

On Saturday, April 13, families of all ages are invited to join the ‘Spring Into Space’ family event.

Find out how the Earth is affected by the moon, make space crafts to take home, take part in a themed trail, and even see an asteroid demonstration.

Tickets cost £3 for adults, £2 for children (aged 4+) and 50p for children under 4.

Norfolk Museums pass holders can attend for free.

Admission to the museum, including the moon exhibition, is included in event tickets.

Both events are run in hourly slots, and booking is strongly recommended.

Tickets can be purchased by contacting the museum, or online via the Art Tickets platform: norfolk-museums.arttickets.org.uk/lynn-museum
