King’s Lynn True’s Yard Fisherfolk Museum over-60s open day with local history films made by Northender Arthur Paynter




In an ‘older person’s open day’ at True’s Yard Fisherfolk Museum on Wednesday, February 8, 10am-3.30pm, over-60s are encouraged to visit True’s Yard Fisherfolk Museum for free.

They can explore the museum, chat with the curator and watch several short local history films made by Northender Arthur Paynter.

Subjects include King’s Lynn, maritime history and folk song.

There will also be activities such as a local history photo quiz, memory trees plus an opportunity to help identify some objects and images recently donated to the museum. Carers will also be able to enter free of charge.
