King’s Lynn Music Society new season starts September 21 in town hall with Ralph Vaughan Williams illustrated talk
The new season for King’s Lynn Music Society starts on Wednesday, September 21 at 7.30pm in Lynn Town Hall with an illustrated talk 'Ralph Vaughan Williams A Life Through Music' given by John Treadway, Trustee of the RVW Society.
Celebrating 150 years since the composer’s birth this talk will focus on various important dates in his long life – some of which was spent in Lynn – and link it to extracts from significant works.
Visitors to the Music Society are always welcome.
Admission is free for under-18s, full time students and those with Federation of Recorded Music Societies affiliation.
For other visitors a £10 donation is suggested at the door. Coffee is available from 6.45pm with a short meeting for members at 7pm.
Annual membership of £50 covers all eight events in the season.
