Music in the Burnhams putting on musical evening with Cabinet Shuffle at Burnham Overy Staithe Village Hall from Tallis to Billy Joel

Enjoy some musical entertainment of a range of genres at a concert this weekend.

Music in the Burnhams is putting on an event with the Cabinet Shuffle band at Burnham Overy Staithe Village Hall on Saturday.

There will be “glorious” music ranging from Tallis to Billy Joel and Purcell to Tom Jones.

The performance starts at 7.30pm and tickets are £20 each. Entry is free for under 18s.

The first half of their programme will be without accompaniment and include items by Tallis, Faure, Rutter and Sting, the second half will consist of more light-hearted items from musicals such as The Sound of Music, Les Miserables and The Wizard of Oz, when the band will be joined by Brenda Blewett on piano.
