Must-see exhibition in King's Lynn ends this weekend
The GroundWork Gallery in Lynn has been exhibiting Nature's Mysterious Networks, Mushrooms, Mycelia and Yeasts which opened in October and runs until this Saturday, December 18.
Normally the exhibition is open Wednesday-Saturday 11am until 4pm and on Thursday, December 16 it will be open until 7pm, also a late night opening for shops in Lynn.
Car parks will be charging only £1 after 3pm and face masks are required.
A spokesperson said of the exhibition: "Nothing quite prepares you for its delicacy and beauty.
"So, come and see plus we have the gorgeous jewellery, artist's books and cards which make perfect Christmas gifts.
"You must come and see Chris Drury's masterpiece, Cloud of Thorns, made from thousands of spiny hawthorn twigs suspended from hundreds of threads.
"It just has to be experienced live. It has such a range of resonances."
Among other fabulous works on show visitors can see Rachel Horton-Kitchlew's living Urban Fungarium, Alison Counsell's collection of Fungal Works in birch bark and metals, Myka Baum's many aesthetic experiments, Moira William's audio-visual programme of images, responses and readings by disabled artists and Alexandra Steiner's mycelial paintings.
