West Norfolk villages plan open gardens events
Green fingered residents of the neighbouring villages of Sedgeford and Ringstead are opening their gardens to visitors on Sunday.
For Sedgeford, it is the 40th anniversary of the event which invites the public behind the walls, hedges and through the gates of some of the prettiest gardens in the village.
They will be open from noon until 5pm and lunches and teas will be served in the church along with live music by Panama, lots of stalls and a quiz with a royal theme.
Admission is £5 with accompanied children allowed in free.
At Ringstead, village gardens will be open from 11am until 5pm and there will be a flower festival in the parish church which will benefit from proceeds raised from the day.
Teas will be served in the village hall and there will be plant sales in Mrs Crowfoot's stunning garden.
Admission is £5 with accompanied under 12s free.
