Festival with a '90's vibe' comes to the Raynham Estate, Fakenham summer 2022, Wide Skies and Butterflies
A festival that celebrates the nature in Norfolk, and has a "90's vibe" is coming to Raynham.
This brand new event in August 2022 sees the first Wide Skies and Butterflies festival heading to Raynham Estate in Fakenham.
The festival’s name gives a shout-out to the big wide-open skies of Norfolk that have inspired poets and artists for centuries.
And the Swallowtail butterfly – seen in the logo – is native to Norfolk, and is "said to represent life, hope, endurance, change, and the grace and free nature of the ineffable human soul" according to ancient myths.
Organisers said:"Wide Skies & Butterflies is a Norfolk festival about music, family, inclusivity, joy, and inspiration.
It’s a safe place where people can come together to embrace and celebrate under the wide Norfolk skies.
If you’d love a festival with a strong 90’s vibe, where you can enjoy a diverse range of live music from big names and local bands, dancing, local food and culture, comedy, the arts, equality, pride, camping, glamping, and safe activities for the kids-Wide Skies and Butterflies is for you."
Wide Skies & Butterflies takes place on August 5 – 7 2022
