New Zey The Mouse to be filmed in King's Lynn
Lynn animator and film producer Ian Harding is making a new episode of Zey The Mouse.
It is called The Time Machine, and it will be the seventh stop motion film in the series. The new episode will be very complex, as far as storylines, film sets, processes and techniques are concerned.
Next year will mark 10 years since Ian first started making films. The first Zey the Mouse film was made in 2012.
Ian said: “I thank all the supporters and fans and my family over the years for believing in me and the team, having the ability to be creative not only by imagination but making my creations come to life.
“Also belonging to the film/animation network online around the world, helping and inspiring others, to bring their ideas to life.”
In this tale, Zey’s granddad is an inventor and claims to have invented a time machine which he wants to try out.
But Zeppe fears he may not return and just wants Zey to see the machine and also Zeppe believes he will not live much longer.
Zey hides in the machine and is only discovered when he floats to the ceiling. They have two journeys: one to a dark future 100 years hence; and to another future by accident when Zey falls on the controls.
They are greeted by a person who knows they are there – the machine is supposed to be invisible like a ghost.
He returns them to the present and the machine seems to destroy itself and Zeppe’s illness disappears.
