Artists are being invited to take part in an exhibition being staged by Norfolk Creative Arts in Grimston from April 25 to May 1.

It will be open to amateur or professional artists who live within a 50-mile radius of the village – and the deadline for applications is Friday, March 31.

Norfolk Creative Arts, which opened its doors in February last year, says: “For many, many years St Botolph’s church next to our building, used to host an annual exhibition which was called the Celebration of Art and it was always run for a week around the first Bank Holiday in May.

“The exhibition used to hold about 400 pieces of work which was all for sale and it was extremely popular with people coming from miles around. It stopped about two years ago and it is sadly missed in the community and certainly left a gap to the area.

“We have now decided to run a similar exhibition, but we are a smaller venue to the church so are limiting the exhibition to 100 pieces of work.”

Artists requiring more information or an application form should visit, call on 01485 240 420 or email to

Each artist can submit three pieces of work which must be for sale and framed accordingly.

The exhibition will open with a private view on Monday, April 24, and then to the public from Tuesday 25th to Monday, May 1, 10am till 4pm each day.
