Oh yes, he is! Ian’s a Dame for tenth year in King's Lynn
The Corn Exchange has celebrated Ian Marr’s tenth anniversary as King’s Lynn’s favourite Dame.
This is also the Alive Corn Exchange’s 10th year of the panto being in Lynn as the journey started in 2010 with Jack & the Beanstalk.
It has grown and grown and this year is looking to be a record-breaking year.
Philip Bayfield, Corn Exchange manager, said: “We are so pleased and lucky to have Ian performing as our Dame here year on year.
“He is fantastic and the audience absolutely love him, especially the dads! We are so excited for Aladdin to begin.
“The rest of the cast are fabulous too: it’s going to be a great show.”
Tim Sitwell, Jordan Production’s associate producer, said: “On behalf of Jordan Productions, we are thrilled to be continuing our relationship with the Corn Exchange.
“Ian Marr is a real jewel in our crown and we’re delighted he’s back to direct and star in this 10th record breaking year.”
Aladdin’s Hip and Hop will be Twist & Pulse, winners of ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent: The Champion of Champions!
The boys are also choreographing the whole show.
Scott Cripps is returning for his seventh panto at the Corn Exchange this year as the hilarious Wishee Washee.
The Corn Exchange are pleased to welcome back Raquel Jones playing their Genie of the Ring again, and Steven Pinder who appeared in Lynn’s very first panto here back in 2010.
They are excited to give a warm welcome to Lisa Mathieson who is playing Aladdin and Divine Cresswell as Princess Sho-Shi.
Aladdin starts next Tuesday, December 10, and continues until Sunday, January 5.
