Pensthorpe nature reserve invites people to see ducklings and goslings in Norfolk this Easter
As the school holidays continue, nature enthusiasts and families are invited to one of Norfolk's best spots for spotting adorable ducklings and goslings.
The Pensthorpe nature reserve has announced the first ducklings of the season have now hatched, and staff are welcoming everyone to go along to have a look.
The recent hatching marks the beginning of a season brimming with the playful antics of baby birds.
Visitors can now see the ducklings waddling around the reserve, alongside visiting the Wader Aviary on site, which has also confirmed hatchings of Bearded Tits.
Pensthorpe spans over 700 acres offering a family-friendly, nature-filled day out.
The reserve boasts seven bird hides, five stunning gardens, and wildlife-inspired eco-play areas. It offers something for everyone.
Plus, there is a cracking Easter-themed trail - the giant egg hunt.
Perfect for all the family, you can grab a trail map from the admission desk and see if you can spot the four-foot-tall eggs around the reserve.
All the eggs have been made by Pensthorpe’s team and volunteers.
The trail runs up until the end of the Easter school holidays this Sunday (April 14), and is included as part of general admission tickets, which can be purchased online or on the day.
Alternatively, Pensthorpe Members can access the trail for free as part of their membership benefits.
