Barton Bendish Open Gardens day will be fundraising for St Andrew’s Church




A fundraising event is being put on in aid of a village church.

Barton Bendish is opening up its gardens to the public on Sunday, June 23 from 11am-5pm.

Many gardens will be open including Barton Bendish Hall and St Mary’s Church.

Available from noon will be Ploughman’s lunches and from 2.30pm will be afternoon teas.

There will be vintage and classic cars, a children’s trail, a raffle, a plant and cake stall, a Pimm’s tent, a community library and a second-hand bookshop.

Admission to this event is £5 and free entry for children.

Proceeds from the day will be going to St Andrew’s Church.
