Outside Edge: new cricket play coming to Downham Market

By Lynn News Reporter

Cricket and comedy come together for a new show being performed at Downham Market this month.

Outside Edge by Richard Harris follows a cricket team attempting to win a match while simultaneously sorting out their marital problems.

Struggles to get a team together for a fixture against the British Railways Maintenance Division Yeading East prove to be the least of anyone's worries.

A narrative of comic chaos will unfold as personal problems prevail over team unity.

The show will take place at Downham Town Hall for three nights next week from Thursday, May 16 until Saturday, May 18.

It will run from 7.30pm to 10pm with doors opening at 7pm.

Tickets cost £10 and are available online at www.dadsdrama.org.uk or from the Mobility Plus Shop in Downham.
