Patience show is well worth 23-year wait as it prepares for King's Lynn showing at The Guildhall
Lots are needed to put on a show – and West Norfolk Gilbert & Sullivan Society (WNGSS) are calling on theirs to put ‘Patience’ on stage at the end of this month in Lynn.
WNGSS promise: “A silly plot, lovely music, plenty of laughs, a joy to see and hear.
“A great show not seen in town for 23 years.”
This will be at The Guildhall of St George, King Street, Lynn from Thursday, January 31 to Saturday, February 2.
Performance times are 7.30pm each evening, with a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm. Tickets are available from the Alive Corn Exchange box office on 01553 764864, or www.kingslynncornexchange.co.uk
Reduced prices are available for OAPs, groups and students.
Rehearsals are well underway for Patience, with Anil Chakrabarti as Reginald Bunthorne, Denise Bridge as Patience and Andy Masterson as Archibald Grosvenor.
The Society is very grateful for the financial support of its sponsors.
Each business has elected to also give to their chosen charity at a performance: Fenton Insurance Solutions Ltd to Tapping House; Morgan Trusts & Tax Planning to Age UK; Hayhow & Co. to Macmillan Cancer Support; and The Mortgage Bureau to The Alzheimer’s Society.
Present at this photoshoot were: Julie Gladman (Hayhow & Co), James Morgan (Morgan Trusts & Tax Planning), Andy Lovell (Fenton Insurance Solutions Ltd) and Andy Masterson (The Mortgage Bureau).
