Westacre Theatre’s Grimm Tales, directed by BBC actress Kirsty Bushell, to hit stage





A performance directed by a BBC actress will be hitting the stage this week.

Westacre Theatre Company are in the final rehearsals for its performance of Philip Pullman’s Grimm Tales, which is being directed by BBC actress Kirsty Bushell.

Kirsty Bushell is best known for her role in Eastenders and Motherland as well as her roles in the National Theatre.

Westacre director Sadie Grist said: “We are so excited to have Kirsty Bushell join us this year to direct the Christmas production.

“She is creating a magical and charming show that beautifully captures the spirit of Christmas at Westacre Theatre – unique, dynamic and magical with plenty of theatrical surprises along the way.

“We know our audiences will be enchanted. Come along into the woods with us this December.”

Opening night is on Friday, December 15 at 7.30pm with shows continuing until December 24.

Tickets can be bought here, they are £16 per adult and £10 for under 16s.
