Pocahontas Players performing new musical ‘Borrowed Love’ at Heacham Public Hall next week

Classic songs of the Sixties will feature when Pocahontas Players perform ‘Borrowed Love’ at Heacham Public Hall next week.

The original musical, written by Jim Race, is being performed on Friday and Saturday, June 7 and 8 at 7.30pm, with a 2pm Saturday matinee.

The story is based around the romance of Jonny, singer of a rock band performing at Heacham Public Hall, back in the early Sixties, who meets young librarian Mary.

They have an instant attraction as Jonny takes out a book of love poetry. However, over the next four decades will it be true love or trouble and strife?

The classic songs of the period depicted help tell the story. Tickets are £8 stalls and £10 raised, from Janice on 01485 570402 or Jim on 01485 571267.
