Punk band In Evil Hour, based in the north east of England, are heading for Lynn’s Bar Red in Norfolk Street next week.
The gig is on Thursday, April 7, with support coming from Lynn’s own Exit Through the Gift Shop – a four-piece alternative/metal band – and also local acoustic artist Zen Lunatic.
In Evil Hour are described as ‘a breakneck assault of melodic punk rock and searing 90s bay-area hardcore’.
Lyrically, their songs are centred around a continued frustration at the wilful destruction of our shared planet.
Heavily influenced by bands such as AFI, Bad Religion and Rise Against, In Evil Hour spent their early years touring the UK, snatching up shows with artists such as Leftover Crack, The Misfits and H2O.
Already regulars on the festival circuit, 2015 saw a main-stage slot at Rebellion Festival, their first show in mainland Europe.
